Since 1987, the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) has set the standard in certification, continuing education, solutions and tools for health and fitness, sports performance and sports medicine professionals. NASM has pioneered evidence-based health and fitness solutions that optimize physical performance and allow individuals to achieve a variety of fitness activity goals.


NASM, a division of Ascend Learning, is hiring a Sales Training and Operations Specialist (STOS) reporting to the Sales Operations and Enablement Manager. The Sales Training and Operations Specialist is responsible for new employee onboarding and ongoing management, development and delivery of sales and product trainings for the company’s various sales channels. This role is a conduit between Product, Marketing, and sales to enable effective communication of the overall product strategy to the sales teams. This individual will also support improving operational efficiencies of the sales process, reporting and revenue reconciliation.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage and maintain Lessonly, our third-party training platform which includes assets, lessons, and users

  • Organize and manage the sales onboarding process, agenda, and delivery of training through both Lessonly and direct face to face sessions

  • Manage virtual training sessions for all remote employees

  • Manage new product launches by collaborating with product and marketing to create the necessary sales training assets

  • Manage and maintain the sales product catalog for Global Fitness and Wellness

  • Provide feedback and trend data to drive training and development opportunities

  • Documentation and reports for sales leadership on training scores and completion

  • Participates in QA calibration sessions with sales team managers and leadership

  • Assists in the development of QA monitoring standards to stay up to date with current sales strategies and processes

  • Assists in the testing of technology deployments that specifically affect the sales teams and the processes they follow

  • Manage reporting request from sales leadership

  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reconciliation for Retail, Academic, International, Health Club, and Partnership channels (Commissions)

  • Coordination and management of training for new technology deployments, system updates, and platform launches

  • Manage the action items owned by the sales organization in project management platform to ensure deliverables are completed on time

 


Preferred Skills and Experience:



  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter and is proficient with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Excel, NLS, Teams, Sales Processes and InContact

  • Self-motivated and perform work under general supervision

  • Well organized, efficient, and possess good judgment.

  • Strong customer focus; service-oriented attitude

  • Ability to adjust to constantly changing technology, processes, and team structures

  • Proficient attention to detail

  • Understands the organization's goals and objectives

 


Minimum Basic Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing processes and reporting within a contact center environment; or equivalent timeframe of on the job experience.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
