As a member of this sales team, youll be the link between Johnsonville and millions of consumers, who enjoy our sausage as part of a quick breakfast or an outdoor tailgate with friends, family and neighbors. Johnsonville relies on experienced and dedicated sales professionals to ensure our customers receive the products they need and want, and that their consumers are satisfied. As a member of our retail sales team, youll work closely with Johnsonvilles marketing and category management teams to develop and deliver consumer insights and category reviews that help our customers be successful. Youll also work with our broker partners to make sure that sales strategies are fully and effectively executed, from headquarters to the retail stores. Position Overview:

We have a great opportunity for a part-time Sales Merchandiser to join our sales team in Milwaukee/Racine/Kenosha and Lake Geneva areas. This enthusiastic, self-motivated individual will be responsible for a variety of sales/merchandising duties including product arrangement on shelves, order taking, and retail sales calls.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance relationships within retail store accounts such as Pick N Save, Piggly Wiggly, Festival, Woodmans and other surrounding retail stores
• Sales and merchandising duties, including product arrangement/displays " Able to lift 40 LBs
• Checking freshness of product within case and backrooms/Freezers
• Rotation of product and best placement on shelf " Using Julian code card
• Building displays where applicable 
• Available for customers store sets- Following a POG
• Knowledge of upcoming ads/ shopper marketing events
• Some knowledge of and the ability to utilize data for fact-based selling (IRI)
• Retail sales calls in Madison and surrounding areas

 

Education:

• High School Diploma required

 

Experience:

• Retail grocery and/or meat department experience a plus

 

Skills and Competencies:

• Enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills including negotiation and presentation skills
• Computer Access and knowledge of programs
• Must have your own Smart phone
• Must have your own vehicle and clean driving record
