Primary Purpose:

Provides technical expertise supporting specimen collection, specimen processing and customer service functions in the laboratory. Provides training and competency assessment for laboratory support personnel and external customers.

Knowledge and Skills

Education: High school diploma or GED required; college science preferred.

Years of Experience: Four years of Phlebotomy experience required.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Good teaching, time management, organizational, and planning skills are required. Excellent interpersonal skills are required. Leadership experience is required.

Licenses and Certifications: Phlebotomy certification preferred.
