Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist that is a self-starter with strong organization and time management skills to join our Professional Development team. A successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:

Performance Coaching

• Oversee and coordinate the New Employee Engagement Program, a comprehensive 9 month process for new employees designed to help them acclimate to the Company.

• Coach employees on the career planning process (how to set goals, action plans, etc.)

• Identify learning opportunities for individuals by writing development plans and supporting the goal planning process.

Learning Management System Administration

• Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management. Monitors reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.

• Identify and document new functionality, integration, and/or enhancement requests, assisting in the prioritization and governance of these requests.

• Assist in the development and execution of communication plans related to the implementation system enhancements and/or process changes.

Instructional Design

• Support fellow Professional Development team members in the creation of courses on topics such as Goal Setting, Introduction to Performance Management, Coaching, and Company Orientation etc.

• Assist with the development of training materials for a variety of formats including classroom and other blended learning platforms.

Additional Duties

• Schedule and coordinate training programs. Maintain participant registration, evaluations, completion information.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, organizational development or equivalent required.

• Experience with Cornerstone or a comparable cloud based learning management system.

• Certification in Korn Ferry Leadership Architect, StrengthsFinder, or Social Style a plus.

• 1-3 years of professional level learning and development experience.

• Ability to travel to our regional offices as necessary.

Abilities

• Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities

• Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25lbs., seeing and reading
