SUMMARY: Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety standards.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Repair and maintain, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operations manuals and manufacturer's specifications, mechanical equipment. Perform minor system repairs such as HVAC, plumbing, pump meters and dispensers, and electronic metering systems. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust as needed. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of productions machines. Oversee vendor repair and maintenance services. Ensure inventory maintenance of related products at various work locations.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED or experience in lieu of education required. Technical school and some coursework after high school preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Five or more years of experience directly related to facility maintenance, fuel systems and/or gas station operation required. Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial skills preferred. HVAC maintenance and repairs experience preferred.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.

COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Ability to perform in a detail oriented environment. Ability to gather, interpret, report and use data and other information concerning assigned activities. Knowledge of office practices, procedures and etiquette. Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.

JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.
