Team Leader IT Asset Management at WEC Business Services in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Job Description:

WEC Business Services, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Team Leader IT Asset Management in our Milwaukee, WI location.

The Team Leader IT Asset Management is responsible for effective delivery of IT asset management (ITAM) services. This includes procurement and management of technology inventories, management of contracts for IT assets and related services, compliance monitoring in all areas of software licensing and management of IT asset related information.

Responsibilities:
Lead a team of IT asset management professionals. Develop strategies, goals and plans for work group and provide work direction and priority setting for employees.
Ensure that appropriate measures are in place to determine team productivity and help continuous improvement initiatives for success within the team.
Mentor, train and develop employees. Monitor employee performance. Provide coaching and feedback.
Assist team in executing and improving foundational asset management practices, processes and procedures. Activities include:
o Monitor and review software usage to ensure WEC remains compliant.
o Lead the successful completion of vendor initiated audits.
o Provide necessary information about our hardware and software assets to stakeholders.
Assist team in executing and improving foundation vendor management practices, processes and procedures. Activities include:
o Provide contract interpretation for license, warranty and service agreements.
o Manage contract renewals and terminations. Identify areas for cost savings.
Assist with defining and implementing improved work practices to better manage our IT assets.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree - Information Systems/Technology/Business
5-7 years of relevant experience in the asset management/procurement field background should include experience in the application of IT asset management practices, demonstrated understanding of the asset management life cycle, knowledge of ordering and procurement processes and procedures, knowledge of software licensing structures, experience in IT contract administration and interpretation, experience in IT procurement and experience with asset management tools, e.g. SNOW, Remedy, etc.

Interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership traits
Demonstrated orientation toward customer service
