The Opportunity: Residential Drivers are essential to our Waste Management team. You'll operate a heavy-duty truck, be responsible for preparing, loading and transporting containers to disposal sites, recycle facilities and/or customer locations. You'll navigate high traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways and lots. Your high skilled driving maneuvers will be put to the test! Don't worry, you won't just be sitting behind the wheel all day - you'll be jumping on/off loading and unloading the trucks and in some cases riding on the back of the trucks for the day. We'll look to you for guidance on route efficiencies, best practices and to work as a team player in order to build a stronger Waste Management.
Requirements:
- Experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving experience in the last seven (7) years
- Possess a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with an air brake endorsement
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- 21 years of age or older
