Summary
The Registered Nurse will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families in the Specialty Clinic. Nursing care is based on the nursing process and augments the medical plan of treatment. The Registered Nurse will deliver care with a team-orientation, an emphasis on good customer relations, sound clinical judgment and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidenced based practice. This position staffs our H/O outpatient procedure area which includes moderate sedation for lumbar punctures and bone marrow aspirates for our H/O patients. Familiarity with moderate sedation and coordination/facilitation of multiple patients undergoing procedures and recovery is preferred.

Qualifications:

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program

- Licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas

- Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience is required

- Current BLS certification is required
