Job Description:

The Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master, is responsible for effectively and efficiently manage the development sprints from planning to execution to review in an agile development environment. Your role will include running daily scrums, managing the product backlog, collaborating on requirement documentation, managing support tickets, and unblocking barriers to keep the team moving. You will be responsible to communicate and collaborate primarily with the engineering, client delivery managers, and senior management teams. Additionally, you will help as the technical project manager on other smaller projects that may use other methodologies such as waterfall.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Scope the project work through the discovery of business requirements

* Facilitates daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and the iteration retrospective

* Facilitates sprint releases and deliverables

* Create or analyze business requirements documents and project timelines

* Guides team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders, protects the team from uncontrolled injection of work (changes are evaluated/intentional)

* Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at high performance

* Manages, monitors, and resolves impediments.

* Effectively execute and control the project work through proactive risk identification, mitigation, and issues management.

* Able to do post mortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity

* Manage other special projects as assigned.

* Supports product owner(s) with intra-team dynamics with respect to priorities and scope

* Create project documentation and artifacts as needed to support the SDLC implementation methodology or documentation requirements.

* Facilitate the creation of deployment approach, training plan, and supporting operational needs.

* Create project closure reports, including validation of assumptions behind the original business case, lessons learned, and support of Business Operations during initial period.

* Work to create repeatable implementation plans with a focus on reducing costs associated with implementation and methodologies that are highly effective.

Requirements

* Minimum of 5 years of project management experience and 2 years leading sprints

* Demonstrable expertise of agile methodology and Frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.

* Thrives in a highly collaborative, EXTREMELY fast-paced environment.

* Expert coach on implementation of agile scrum

* Flexibility to help mold the agile process into a Company appropriate Agile process.

* Deep understanding of Scrum theory, rules, and practices

* Deep understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development

* Excellent and thorough knowledge of the SDLC process and implementation methodologies best suited for web application development.

* Passionate commitment to delivering products on time

* Comfortable with presenting project readouts to Executive level audiences

* Deep understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, user stories, etc.)

* Ability to understand and represent both the business and technology

* Extremely strong communicator.

* Self-Motivated; organized.

* Mortgage Industry, Financial Services/Consumer lending experience preferred.

* Certifications are highly desired.

* Use of Azure DevOps is a big plus
