Job Description:

Directly supports the Vice Chairman and oversees a team of brokerage support professionals (support team). Responsible for ensuring that the support team achieves established plans and goals. Provides leadership, strategic direction, and ensures that the team achieves business plan objectives. Assists in coaching, motivating, training, and advising the support teamto attain both short and long term goals and objectives for sales profit and growth.


  • Essential Job Duties: Prepare for weekly briefings with the Vice Chairman. Coordinate support team's progress as it relates to listings, billings, research, and marketing. Create system for reporting to highlight each employee's contributions that clearly demonstrates all projects are on track.
  • Paying close attention to detail, create streamlined process for listings and completed deals. Includes coordination of team members executing billing, public relations, signing, and transaction documentation in accordance with established Newmark standards and processes
  • Manage marketing and advertising contracts and spending. Evaluate budget and prepare reports to demonstrate impact of dollars invested.
  • Work with video production company taking care of planning, strategy, and logistical details. Take direction set by Vice Chairman as far as messaging and goal of each film.
  • Interacts individually with the support team to plan, coach, advise, and review their progress in achieving individual and team revenue targets and assist them in their career planning and growth.
  • Meet expected revenue growth.
  • Facilitates a team-based work environment to promote sales across business lines.
  • Participates in key account calls.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with vendors.
  • Manages and facilitates effective change implementation.
  • Promotes customer service and ethics above products and services.
  • Supports and advocates corporate initiatives.
  • May perform other duties as assigned
  • Active Real Estate license required within 90 days of hire.

Skills, Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Minimum 8 years industry related sales experience with 6 years business-to-business account management and development experience
  • Expert customer service skills and knowledge of sales processes
  • Expert ability to manage and motivate teams to attain business goals
  • Highly developed communication skills with ability to communicate to all levels of the organization both internal and customers' and to diverse audiences
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills
  • Expert business acumen and leadership skills
  • Demonstrates independent and sound judgment
  • Leads, understands, develops and/or implements company initiatives
  • Expert written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with strategic scope of responsibility
  • Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • May perform other duties as assigned
