Job Description:

Network Quality Innovation - Focused Quality Analytics team, work towards improving quality of data in Cigna's Provider Book of Record (BoR) system, by working together with our business partners, to create exceptional data experience for Cigna and our customers.

This role sits within this team in Cigna's Connected Care Provider Relations organization, working across the business community, partnering closely with IT to improve data quality and developing automation capabilities that transforms data, algorithms and processes into most reliable one stop shop for provider data with specific focus on the automation, scheduling and analysis of data from business systems. This position may be involved in day to day work as it relates to creating and executing queries against business systems.

Responsible for the extraction and analysis of healthcare information, work in the automation and scheduling of business critical processes as well as driving opportunities to improve the efficiency of or otherwise enhance existing processes

Advanced experience automating and scheduling processes with SSIS and SAS scheduling jobs.

Writes business, functional and non-functional business requirements, actively participates in system design reviews, reviews test evidence, and participates in status meetings. Designs and constructs workflow charts and diagrams; studies system capabilities; writes specifications

Develop understanding of all aspects of provider/practitioner demographics, contracts, contract management and BoR domains

Collaborates with key matrix partners to review analysis outcomes and ensure accurate loading guidelines

Identifies remediation needs in order to promote increased automated loading of provider data and to support data integrity across all provider systems

Qualifications / Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or a minimum of 4 years of programming experience in SQL, Teradata or Python experience required.

Experience with SSIS/DTS Package Configuration, SSIS Catalog Deployment, SSIS File System Deployment, SQL Server Job Agent, and Job Activity Monitor required

Development experience with MS SQL Server

3+ years of scheduling or development experience with SAS-EG or SAS is a plus

Dedicated to innovation and designing a new way to work

Ability to locate and analyze HCP data and perform data maintenance for accurate consumption

Be a team player and able to work independently or with little supervision

Ideal Candidate Will Offer:

Experience in health care/managed care with direct responsibility for quality analytics and data management with relational database concepts

Ability to navigate organization, build SME relationships and assist with internal discussions

Demonstrated experience with testing across multiple data systems; including execution of pilots of new data feeds or infrastructure changes

Strong data mining skills including the ability to perform research and conduct root cause analyses

Strong technical skills

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
