Job Description:

Job Responsibilities
Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

• Facilitating and documenting the definition of business requirements and functional specifications
• Gathering and providing IT resource estimates
• Coordinating solution development
• Organizing and managing user acceptance testing
• Defining and managing cutover plan to transition solution to production state
• Assisting change management/training requirement on cut over to the new solutions

Other Job Responsibilities
Sustaining Support:

• Responding to end users reporting the problems, providing status
• Coordinating with development team, when programming is necessary to correct the problem
• Coordinating with end users to test corrections
• Defining and managing cutover plan to transition fix to production state

Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 10 - 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or 9 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent experience.

Essential:

• Solid experience as a BSA; able to inquire, understand, articulate and document business requirements/impacts etc.
• Managing small to medium sized projects and/or providing a key contributor role on medium to large sized business solution projects
• Experience in working with cross-functional team, ability to drive the effort forward
• Experience in working with various development team and platforms (.Net, Java, SAP ECC/ABAP, CRM, etc.)
• Strong problem solving and analytical/critical thinking skills, identify areas of risk and mitigation
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong documentation skills for project deliverables, eg Functional specification, Solutions assessment matrix, etc.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware/software lifecycles, ERP solutions, ERP development environments/tools
• Capability to coordinate/facilitate complex technical discussions
• Experience working with CRM/FSM platforms for Service or Spares business
• Knowledgeable in integrating SAP with non-SAP solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in or supporting field service and/or engineering organizations
• Experience supporting business applications on one or more of the following platforms
  
  
  • .net/SQL custom build solution
  • ERP system (SAP/CRM) services modules
  • SharePoint, K2 workflow
  • Appian, Quickbase, Qlik reporting/Dashboard
  • Mobile applications
  
  
• Experience in WCM, ECM and Portal systems and architectures
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics and Power Apps platforms
