Overview :
- Blue Yonder, a leading AI-driven Global Supply Chain Solutions Software Product Company and one of Glassdoor's \\"Best Places To Work\\" is seeking an Intern to join our Information Technology Group (ITG) Org based in Scottsdale, AZ
- This Internship is anticipated to be full time (40 hours/week), DURING SUMMER 2021
- To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in a graduate degree (Bachelors or Master's degree) in Computer Science

What We Offer You:
- Shadow and learn from our technical architects, to manage code releases.
- You will cross and merge the barriers that exist between software development, testing and operations teams and keep existing networks in mind as they design, plan and test.
- Learn on the job:
- Update and maintain kubernetes clusters and services.
- Update and maintain databases.
- Create CI/CD scripts for testing and deployment.
- Add useful monitoring and alerting to infrastructure.
- Update and maintain infrastructure security measures..
- Ensure a healthy environment to meet uptime and functionality goals.
- Identify, incorporate, and communicate best practices

You are, and have:
- A highly analytical individual that's interested in working with bleeding edge technologies and infrastructure.
- Have entry-level proficiency in dealing with current web technologies (React, Python, etc.), a knowledge of test-driven development and agile workflows, knowledge of virtualization platforms, have familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) mechanisms,
- Strong technical and analytical abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills - effectively communicate technical concepts and results to both technical and business audiences

Bonus points if you have real time or projects experience in :
- React/Python applications
- infrastructure automation tooling (terraform, ansible, flux)
- basic tenets of application security
- Working within a containerized environment (Heroku, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Database PostgreSQL as well as basic query authoring.
- highly-scalable RESTful APIs
- Microsoft Azure
