What You'll Do

The Global eCommerce Digital Marketing Director will lead the development of a successful digital marketing strategy to drive growth of our global eCommerce business. As Digital Marketing Director, you should have in-depth marketing experience and a passion for digital technologies. You will develop and activate Lenovo's global eCommerce digital demand generation strategy while helping to profitably accelerate DTC revenue and margin growth. Digital marketing is expected to be a key revenue and profit driver for the company, with responsibility for digital acquisition and retention efforts that generate and convert traffic into incremental DTC revenue. You will work collaboratively with various teams, including geo eCommerce marketing teams, to ensure consistency through all digital marketing channels. This critical role should have a perspective on how to leverage digital trends to continuously challenge digital marketing's role in driving eCommerce growth.

Responsibilities:

* Translate a vision for online marketing into a coherent digital marketing strategy to drive growth for the WW eCommerce business
* Develop a customer acquisition strategy to ensure growth objectives are met across critical target segments, including the optimization of the digital channel mix (SEO/SEM, paid social, display, retargeting, email, affiliates, influencers and partnerships) all designed to achieve profitable funnel conversion, CAC, AOV and LTV objectives
* Collaborate with segment teams to understand key segment personas and their customer journeys in order to effectively reach and engage audiences as part of a full-funnel strategy
* Develop and optimize digital marketing programs that increase the CLV by enhancing the journey, increasing engagement and driving loyalty and retention
* Develop an understanding of all sources of customer data and partner with the analytics and data teams to optimize how this data is used to inform and shape the digital marketing strategy and tactical efforts
* Utilize leadership and agile design thinking to stimulate and sustain relevant digital innovation and a robust test and learn culture that learns, fails, pivots and optimizes quickly
* Devise model of standardization of demand gen programs across geographies to drive efficiency, including the provision of a global campaign/product launch framework
* Collaborate with analytics and data teams to optimize standard reporting and analytics models, including attribution and media mix
* Align with geo and WW brand marketing teams to ensure inclusion of eCommerce in broader marketing efforts
* Lead and manage a team of eCommerce global digital marketing program strategists to be best-in-class
* Drive best practice sharing, standardization and operational efficiency across geos via a BMS

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field, with 10-15 years of marketing experience. MBA a plus
* Experience building integrated digital strategies and plans that have shown demonstrated success
* Strategic thinker with ability to lead and apply strategy
* Knowledge of digital marketing trends and techniques, including channels, technology and analytics
* Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness, ROI, etc.
* Previous and proven effective personnel management experience required
* Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external customers
* Expert ability to deliver on multiple simultaneous tasks with excellence
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fun and entrepreneurial environment
* Highly organized, strong attention to detail and outstanding time management skills
* Strong project management and process orientation
* Ability to collaborate in a heavily matrixed environment
* Ability to write, present, and sell in a clear, powerful and compelling way; be a great storyteller
* Confident, likeable, collaborative, passionate
* Previous budget management experience
* Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
* 10% travel
