Position Overview:

The position within CVAD Cloud (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops) will initially focus on the development of Citrix Cloud product line, which will present you with a unique opportunity to expand problem-solving situations that will become an invaluable individual career asset. The Senior Engineer is responsible to defining architecture for complex components working with other partners like PM , CX and will mentor other team members.

Role Responsibilities:
- Designs, develop and troubleshoot moderate-complex software applications
- In addition to hands-on technical development activities, contributes to the analysis and conceptual design of proposed projects
- Participates in determining the feasibility of proposed projects and the overall plan for implementation.
- Operates as Subject Matter Expert and/or owner of multiple moderate-complex software modules.
- Responsible for leading the integrity of technical work on significant concurrent projects.
- Review progress and evaluates results of assigned technical projects and process against conformance to plans and specifications making recommendations based on the results
- Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise and other departments on technical matters.
- Recommends and executes continuous quality improvement in meeting internal and external customer requirements (including customer escalation and cross-team support).

- Build stateless microservices hosted on both AWS and Azure cloud resources.
- Enhance the CI/CD pipelines, tools and engineering processes used to build, test, deploy, or monitor the product

Basic Qualifications:
- Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of object oriented programming experience with a strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (Data Structures, Algorithms, Networking, Operating Systems)
- Debugging skills in C# .NET using MS Visual Studio
- Proven experience in leading complex business critical applications.
- Experiencearchitecting and developing distributed cloud architectures and infrastructure within AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience developing backend services/ micro services/cloud services /Rest API/Web API
- Experience with Networking, Multi-threading, crash dump analysis
- Experience mentoring/training the engineering community on complex technical issues

Preferred Experience:
- Experience in modernizing legacy web applications to be cloud native micro-services is desirable
- Experience with databases including MSSQL and NoSql technologies is preferred.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
