Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Answer questions and resolve disputes for customers by listening to problems, collecting data, securing answers, and thoroughly investigating disputes.

  • Apply investigative techniques, validate factual information, and prepare clear and concise reports of fraud/loss events.

  • Conduct thorough and comprehensive investigations in required timeframes.

  • Represent the Bank in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with branch employees.

  • Conduct fraud or other investigations as assigned.

  • Maintain comprehensive files for each investigation.

  • Keep supervisor informed of activities and significant problems.

  • Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE



  • Minimum of 1 year bank operations experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills                                                         

  • Proficiency in Word and Excel                                                 

  • Excellent customer service skills                                                          

  • Ability to conduct research projects with minimal supervision/guidance             

  • General knowledge of investigative, audit, and research techniques and procedures

  • Analytical and organizational skills with a detail oriented approach

  • Ability to work under pressure with strict time constraints                     

WORKING CONDITIONS


·         Normal office conditions


·         Requires alertness, thoroughness, efficiency, and regular use of telephone to communicate with co-workers


·         Some overtime may be required


·         Some travel may be required
