Reporting to the Director of Lab Services, the Hospital Lab Manager will oversee the unit to maintain clinical standards. As the Inpatient Clinical Lab Manager, you will be part of a multifaceted team composed of Clinical Lab Scientists, Laboratory Assistants, and Administrative Staff members that oversee chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, coagulation, transfusion, and POC services. It is imperative that you be able to manage these team members while being a strong clinical team leader. 

The Hospital Lab Manager will be in charge of ensuring that all areas of the lab meet state and federal regulatory requirements, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. You will be in charge of staffing, which includes managing the workflow of the unit aimed at increasing productivity, while being mindful of the financial resources of the department. In addition to working with lab personnel, the Inpatient Clinical Lab Manager will be working with healthcare professionals such as physicians and other hospital leadership.
