An exciting new opportunity for an experienced RN Coordinator Bariatric Surgical Educator. A large medical center in the Seattle Metropolitan area is seeking a full-time, WA-licensed RN for a Coordinator opportunity with in their Patient Care Weight Loss center. 

Located in the Seattle Metropolitan area, the RN Coordinator Bariatric Surgical Educator will have the chance to work in a highly respected Weight Loss Patient Care center. The RN Education Coordinator for Bariatric Surgery will provide highly quality nursing care, in accordance with the hospital’s mission and vision, while also being a nurse leader and mentor for the team on the floor. In doing so, the RN Coordinator Bariatric Surgical Educator will show high level of nursing knowledge based on evidence-based practices, be self-motivated and strong communication skills. Additionally, the Nursing Coordinator will work cohesively with hospital physicians, nurse directors, nurse managers and licensed RN’s. 

Reporting to the Medical Director in the inpatient/outpatient care, this self-motivated individual will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for the patient directly and indirectly and will assume shift responsibility and accountability. The RN Coordinator Bariatric Surgical Educator will rely on nursing experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals for the Weight Loss Department. They will help facilitate a strong bariatric nursing team by conducting training for the teaching process and the pre-operative education classes. The Education RN Nursing Coordinator will also work with other units to ensure complete patient education and establish the groundwork for rehabilitation services. 

The RN Coordinator Bariatric Surgical Educator will strive to further their nursing knowledge by attending performance improvement evaluations, receiving additional training, and succeeding in getting proper certifications.
