An accredited acute care hospital located in North Carolina is currently searching for multiple experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist to join their award-winning healthcare team.

The Medical Laboratory Technologist will work within a full-serviced medical laboratory that is fully accredited by the North Carolina State Department of Health Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Unit as well as the Joint Commission. The laboratory services offered at this state-of-the-art facility consist of chemistry, coagulation, microbiology, pathology, phlebotomy, hematology, urinalysis, histology, cytology, and blood transfusion services. This laboratory service line is able to perform more than one million tests annually utilizing the most up-to-date technologies.

The Medical Laboratory Technologist will work under the supervision of the Manager of Laboratory Services. The Medical Laboratory Technologist will perform a number of laboratory procedures within the clinical laboratory including maintain lab equipment and performing quality assurance initiatives. The Medical Laboratory Technologist will perform a variety of microbiological, virological, serological, chemical, immunohematological, hematological, biophysical, cytogenetical, cytological, and histologic procedures. This position requires education and certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in the state of North Carolina.
