This exciting opportunity for a Cardiovascular Cath Lab Registered Nurse is with a 300+ patient bed hospital that is home to an award-winning Cardiovascular Center of Excellence. The Heart Center’s services include Atrial Fibrillation Program, TAVR program, an accredited Chest Pain Center, and Cardiac Rehabilitation. The Cardiovascular Cath Lab RN will demonstrate a strong knowledge of discharge planning, utilization of evidence-based practices, and cardiac interventional related procedures. The Cardiovascular Cath Lab RN will be responsible for utilizing clinical expertise to plan, implement and evaluate all aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures in order to ensure that all patient’s physical and emotional needs are upheld. In this role, the Catheterization Registered Nurse will collaborate with the Registered Nurses, fellow Cath Lab members, and other staff physicians. Success will be maximized as the Cath Lab Registered Nurse if previous experience in the area of specialty has been obtained. Active participation in Cath Lab patient flow and coordination of appropriate discharge planning is necessary in order to ensure excellent continuity of care after discharge.
