Boasso Global, a premier intermodal service company providing transportation and tank container services, is seeking a Facility Manager to help support operations at our Chalmette LA facility.
The Facility Manager will direct and oversees all terminal maintenance and capital projects.
Essential functions include;
Travels extensively, requiring the use of a company credit card and the regular submission of related expense reports. Responsible for the costs associated with all maintenance and capital projects.
Minimum education/experience necessary to perform the job: High School diploma or GED plus several years of management experience in the field of facilities maintenance.
Minimum special knowledge and skills required: Experience in general maintenance, electrical work, mechanical aptitude, the ability to work on multiple tasks, and the ability to follow direction is required, as well as experience with various skilled trades related to building maintenance (i.e. mechanical, electrical, A/C and heating, carpentry, etc.)
