Job Description:

Schreiber Foods is seeking an Industrial Electrician to work in our clean and temperature controlled working environment. We are looking for a first shift support Industrial Electrician (5am-1pm) with the ability to work third and second shifts when needed to cover vacations or other staffing needs. In this role, you will start at $22.00/hour (includes certification pay at 60 days) with qualifying pay around $28/hour with the ability earn up to $30/hour when eligible for energy systems The training period will require working different shifts for the first 6-8 months. Overtime and weekend work is to be expected in this role. Position is eligible for overtime is paid on 8+ hours in a day, time and half paid on Saturdays and double time paid on Sundays.

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for production support and maintenance of all electrical and electronic equipment, controls, and instrumentation. This role is involved in the plant projects to assure reliability and maintainability with plant resources.  This role must also perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and Customer Requirement outages and by contacting the leader.

What do you need to succeed:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent


• Journeyman Electrician preferred


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout shift


• Excellent communication skills


• Weekend/overtime work is required on a rotating basis


• Electronics/electricity/controls or electro mechanics troubleshooting experience in a quick-paced industrial environment


• Troubleshooting industrial AC & DC electronic drives, PLC’s, and control systems; conduit and wire installations


• Assist with continuous improvement projects


• Control panel construction


• Electrical preventative maintenance


• Troubleshoot instrumentation devices and related signals (4-20ma &, 0-10vdc)


• Computer Skills


• Organizational skills


• Mathematical skills


• Maintain valid driver’s license and proof of insurance on file

What's the Shift?

• 1st Shift: 5am–1pm with the ability to work other shifts when needed

What's the Pay?

• Qualified pay is around $28/hour. Starting wage is $22.00/hour (includes certification pay after 60 days)
