DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises and schedules all employees in the foodservice department.
Experience and/or training in nutrition, food preparation, and food service management. Ability to supervise other employees, perform detailed work involving math calculations, problem solve, handle emergency situations, work flexible shifts, read and understand menus, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and the ability to do multiple tasks at one time.
Must enjoy working with the elderly and able to accept constructive criticism. Ability to interact with residents who are highly susceptible to common illness without posing additional health risks and must maintain good personal hygiene and wear a uniform.
