About the Team

The North America Payables and Receivables Product Management team is responsible for product strategy, development and commercialization of both payment and collection services that J.P. Morgan delivers to Financial Institution, Non-Bank Financial Institution, Corporate and Commercial Bank clients globally. These services include paper and electronic low value payable and receivables solutions. Cash Management market is undergoing one of the exciting times - clients now demand faster and easier ways to make payments.

About the Position

J.P. Morgan is seeking talented, ambitious, and creative candidates for the role of Product Sales Specialist for Prepaid Card in our Wholesale Payments Product Management team. Our focused group of professionals is composed of high performers from top payments, Fintech, banking, consulting firms, and other internal JPMorgan Chase groups.

The Prepaid Card Product Sales specialist must have an intricate knowledge of the prepaid card product, who can lead our initiative in client engagement, drive significant revenue to the product through mandate borne out of request for proposal, proactive client engagement, intensive teaming with our industry sales team leaders and Treasury Sales managers and represent the Firm as an articulate, thoughtful and knowledgeable representative via engagement across our business to identify opportunities and drive the prepaid product's feature set in a manner that reflects our clients' evolving needs. The prepaid card product sales specialist will lead the marketing of prepaid card capabilities through our various client/end-user delivery channels. The imperative will be to drive the engine that will lead to significant revenue and margin growth as well as work with other N.A.. product sales specialist team members in order to coordinate leads and impact the growth and oversee the work efforts of cross-functional partners as we ideate and identity needed enhancements that will drive additional growth and differentiation of the product.

This role is suited for an individual with a deep understanding of the prepaid product set, cash management products and can integrate a winning value proposition, pricing and our client needs in order to drive success for the nascent re-introduction of the product in conjunction with our traditional cash management products. The ability to be flexible, travel once travel is again permitted to our clients offices, above all engaging with our TS sales team to unearth opportunities and aggressively pursue them to their logical conclusion. Interaction with clients, vendors, and leaders across the firm is required as is the ability to eloquently provide our value proposition.

Sales goals, business defense, identification of new opportunities are all important elements of the success in the role.

Responsibilities include:


  • Meet or exceed directed sales goals for the product
  • Support the pricing and proposal writing process as needed
  • Deliver an eloquent message on the product capabilities and differentiators in the market
  • Travel when permitted and as needed to advance business goals and mandates
  • Be an eloquent spokesperson at conferences and internal client and peer events
  • Drive product improvement by bringing back market competitive information to our product team collagues for improvement
  • Support cross-sell of other products and deliver a winning solution
  • Strong presentation technical skills in building sales decks and collateral
  • Lead market-facing collateral delivery along with product colleagues
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of the strategic product roadmap through collaboration with clients, sales, segment teams, channel partners, and other product owners within the Payables and Receivables business.
  • Understand and define client-use cases and how they can be addressed in an advantageous way with prepaid cards
  • Attend client roundtables, strategy white-boarding, workshops, etc., as required
  • Support Sales with client needs identification, solutions recommendations, and pricing
  • Support Sales in responding to complex RFPs, non-standard information requests
  • Contribute to marketing strategy and communications plans

Qualifications:


  • Experience with, and technical knowledge of digital channels products including; internet, host-host, API, and mobile channels
  • Strong payments industry knowledge; consultative background around complex solutions preferred
  • Deep experience and facility with client-facing interaction
  • 5 years of experience in financial industry
  • Extensive product knowledge specific to pre-paid product set from operations, sales, and/or product
  • Industry expertise and exposure at conferences or internal Analytical mindset with an ability to understand technical details
  • Awareness of financial services and prepaid card regulatory framework
  • Deep understanding of payment card network, operational and product delivery and transaction processing
  • Strong client-interface and teaming skills with an ability to observe and identify client problems and ideate solutions
  • Strong presentation and communications skills, with ability to present to clients and decision-makers
  • Work related domestic travel is required
