Job Description:

J.P. Morgan Private Bank is seeking a highly effective Digital Product Owner to develop and manage the platforms supporting our marketing automation, acquisition, and new channels capabilities (mobile/sms). As Product Owner, you will define the strategic vision for our capabilities and create the product road-maps for the development team. You'll understand our target market and build close relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the team's efforts are aligned with overall strategy.

You're an innovative product owner, interested in using data and technology to create high impact marketing solutions, customer touch points and user journeys that drive business results. You've managed digital products/platforms. You're experienced using Marketo and/or SFMC. You work agile, and have the marketing knowledge necessary to translate user needs into requirements that will help to keep J.P. Morgan on the leading edge of the rapidly changing digital channels landscape.

This role will report to the Head of Digital Products for J.P. Morgan Private Bank.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Digital Products - Product Owner include, but are not limited to:


  • Set the product strategy for developing our marketing automation and communications platforms, including the use of AI and machine learning, to drive client acquisition, deepening and engagement.
  • Deliver work as part of a global digital products team using Agile methodology.
  • Work with marketers to understand marketing strategy & roadmaps, and translate the voice of customers/clients/partners into valuable features.
  • Identify and manage strategic 3rd party solutions to advance our global digital communication transformation objectives.
  • Develop, manage and maintain product roadmaps, priorities, and backlog, including product documentation, procedures, and sprint release notes.
  • Translate high level business needs in to product user stories for technology partners.
  • Participate in daily scrum to elaborate stories and clarify business expectations for development and testing teams, and oversee user acceptance testing pre- and post release.
  • Socialize and demonstrate product features/functionalities to marketing partners and business stakeholders.
  • Oversee relevant platform and data integrations to drive and extend solution value across the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of business experience, at least five of which are in a digital platform or product owner role.
  • Experience with Marketo or SFMC Marketing Automation solutions; Marketo certified a plus.
  • Knowledge of project/task management systems, JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with Agile, managing a product backlog and writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience working with UX design and development teams, preferably using Agile frameworks for prototyping and rapid cycle development.
  • Ability to use user-centric thinking and data-driven approaches to analyze and develop solutions to business problems.
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a high intensity, deadline driven environment.
  • Experience working in financial services, retail banking, digital payments, e/m-commerce, online and mobile platforms.
