Special Credits Analyst I at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Description:

• Negotiates satisfactory repayment schedules, obtains additional collateral and restructures credit facilities when appropriate.
  
  
• Responsible for mitigation efforts for both traditional and SBA portfolios to ensure compliance and maintain guaranty.
  
  
• Reviews existing loan documentation for errors and omissions, and evaluates client's financial strength and capacity to repay outstanding debt.
  
  
• Ensures collateral lien is perfected and determines collateral's current value.
  
  
• Develops and implements a plan of action to mitigate loss. Negotiates a satisfactory restructure of the credit facilities and obtains additional collateral as appropriate. Monitors plan of action for the desired results.
  
  
• Takes legal action when necessary. Initiates the repossession and/or liquidation of collateral or other legal action against the client.
  
  
• Manages the repossession, foreclosure and sale of collateral so as to ensure the highest possible recovery. Works closely with both internal and external counsel to obtain judgments, maximize opportunities on bankrupt accounts, execute on assets, negotiate settlements, and develop most effective action plan of recovery, while managing litigation expense control.
  
  
• Documents all contacts, agreements and discussions that transpire with the client.
  
  
• Effectively analyze bankruptcy plans.
  
  
• Analyze both business and individual tax returns and/or financial statements to determine plan of action.

Requirements:

• Requires knowledge of bankruptcy, litigation and collateral liquidation process.
  
  
• Requires Loan Workout or Loss Mitigation experience.
  
  
• 5+ years of commercial loan collections/loss mitigation experience highly desired
  
  
• Working knowledge of state specific statutes regarding collections, litigation, asset assessment and execution preferred
  
  
• Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation, security agreements, guaranties, and SBA processes preferred
  
  
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  
  
• Credit product knowledge preferred
  
  
• Working knowledge of commercial credit philosophy and policies, loan documentation, guarantor support, and loan structure.
