This role, within the Wholesale Lending Reporting Control Team, provides a unique opportunity to leverage the Firm's technology and data strategies and lead through a period of change; influencing and building partnerships with the SEC and Regulatory teams as well as the Law Department, Accounting Policy, Product Controllers, Wholesale Loan Services and Risk professionals. The successful candidate will have a unique mix of technical data skills, business acumen, and communication ability. Importantly, they will have demonstrated ability define a strategic plan, and gain buy-in with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:


  • Design and implement efficient strategies for mining fit for purpose data to complete new or improve existing reporting requirements
  • Execute controls to ensure accurate SEC and regulatory reporting of wholesale lending data
  • Prepare and present findings or status in senior management forums
  • Provide a high level of responsiveness to wholesale lending related ad-hoc requests and/or inquiries from senior management and bank regulators (SEC, FRB, OCC, FDIC, ECB, etc.)
  • Respond to inquiry from governance for controls including auditors. Prioritize supporting documentation to ensure evidence of controls

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA required; quantitative focus/advanced study preferred
  • CPA or equivalent professional credential
  • 10+ years of total professional experience, within MIS, Data, Finance, and/or Management Consulting roles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data management concepts and experience in at least one or more Business Intelligence toolsets: e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, Python, Qliksense, Xceptor, databases, SQL or similar query language
  • History of delivering timely, high quality, senior manager-level reporting and analysis from diverse, complex data sources. Attention to detail a must with focus on executive quality presentation
