Job Description:


Does the idea of getting complex Computing and Graphics devices to market excite you? If so, we want to talk to you to help build the manufacturing test software to ensure every GPU that we make meets the highest standards. We are looking for a top-notch Board Test Engineer to join the team!

You will be working closely with various Engineering teams to build production test applications for Graphics and Computing Products. You will extensively use your knowledge of operating systems, algorithms, and computer architecture to provide robust and efficient solutions to validate and test next generation processors. This is your chance to create waves in the industry while directly working with and alongside some of the most top-valued diverse minds in the GPU business! You will directly contribute to test infrastructure and methodology that will be used to build every single GPU that NVIDIA makes.

What you'll be doing:


  • Support bring up, manufacturing screening and field returns for GPU board and system products.


  • Work closely with architecture, hardware and driver teams through the product development lifecycle of computing and graphics processors.


  • Craft software tools and infrastructure required for new chip development, validation, and productization


What we need to see:


  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience


  • 5 + years of relevant experience


  • Hardware troubleshooting experience on Linux - knowledge of PCIE is a strong plus


  • Fantastic scripting skills : Python (preferred), bash, and JavaScript (plus)


  • Even stronger communication skills


  • Familiarity with PC architecture, and ability to work close to the hardware


  • Very strong problem solving and debugging skills


  • Ability to self-manage and show leadership


Ways to stand out from the crowd:


  • Familiarity with graphics and display device technologies


  • Expert-level knowledge of PCIE (internals, power management)


  • Knowledge of how the Linux kernel works with hardware


  • Previous NPI (New Product Introduction) experience on boards and systems
