PacArctic, LLC is looking for a highly qualified, experienced and self-motivated individual to perform the duties of a Master Electrician to support our customer in the Beltsville, MD area. This is a full time position.

The Master Electrician shall be dependable and detail-oriented. The Master Electrician's responsibilities include using a number of tools to install and service electrical systems, observing company safety guidelines, documenting project issues or concerns, completing reviews, providing Quality Control Inspections and updating client records, providing material cost and time estimates, and training apprentices. The Master Electrician should also be able to easily diagnose electrical faults and provide excellent customer service.

The Master Electrician shall be able to read blueprints, use diagnostic tools, and make decisions under pressure. Outstanding Master Electricians have sound knowledge of their craft and the ability to transfer this knowledge and skill to apprentices.

The Master Electrician will report to the Project Manager on all project matters.

The Master Electrician will have the following responsibilities:

* Installing, repairing, and servicing electrical systems.

* Sourcing or fabricating replacement electrical components.

* Interpreting blueprints and drawing rough sketches when required.

* Guiding and overseeing other apprentices or journeyman electricians.

* Drawing up preventative maintenance measures and explaining these to clients and other electricians.

* Obtaining required permits, equipment, tools, and materials for projects.

* Testing and troubleshooting systems.

* Providing assistance during emergencies.

* Updating project records and preparing relevant documents and reports for clients.

* Liaising with clients, vendors, and other electricians.

Position Requirements

Requirements

* The Master Electrician shall meet the following requirements.

* High school diploma or similar.

* Maryland, Master Electrician license.

* A valid driver's license.

* At least 8-10 years of experience as an Electrician.

* Superb customer service skills.

* Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication.

* Experience with power tools and other equipment used in construction.

* Physical strength and stamina.

* Firm grasp of health and safety codes.

* Patience when teaching apprentices.

* Active Top Secret Clearance

* Project Management Professional (PMP )

* Driver s License

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to stand for extended periods of time. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Includes travel to local, remote and out of state locations.
