Regional Sales Manager - Kentucky at Calix in Petaluma, California

THIS IS A REMOTE-BASED POSITION LOCATED IN KENTUCKY.

Calix is transforming Communication Service Providers (CSP), of all sizes, through the power of our cloud and software platforms. These platforms enable CSPs to deliver a differentiated subscriber experience that reduces churn, grows revenue and attracts new subscribers through the Revenue Edge platform, at the lowest OPEX possible through the power of telemetry, analytics and automation delivered by the Intelligent Access Edge. We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager focused on selling to and supporting new prospects and existing Calix customers. You will work with our sales team structure supporting existing customers while also targeting new prospects in the Kentucky and West Virginia region.

Developing the strategy for the overall account team, you will lead the Calix team by maintaining existing account relationships and introducing new Calix offerings relevant to that customer and prospects. This includes managing the complete and complex sales-cycle, and ensuring Calix stays positively positioned within these accounts by growing revenue, locking out competition and uncovering new opportunities within each account.

Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience of quota carrying technology sales and account management experience
- In depth understanding of Communications Service Provider (CSP) business
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
- Comfortable and compelling both on the phone, and in the boardroom
- Consistent earnings history representative of plan over-achievement
- Candidates must be competitive, cooperative, collaborative and work well with customers both internal and external
- Must have a valid driver's license

Desired Experience:
- Service Provider networking understanding
- Experience selling into Tier 3 Solution Provider customers
- Bachelor or University Degree strongly preferred
- Regional Travel is required, approximately 50%-75%
