Overview
As a project manager (PM), you will be responsible for cost, schedule, and performance of Missiles and Space training applications, interactive multimedia instruction (IMI) technology projects. You should have a strong background in project management, managing creative teams, and interfacing/briefing DoD customers. You should be experienced in reading, writing, and translating technical information and conceptual ideas into high-end interactive multimedia from instructionally designed storyboards.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is capable of providing on-site customer interaction, evaluate GFI, and develop courseware design documentation. You will coordinate daily tasks and work with Government customers, support contractors and Team i3 functional leads, to ensure compliance with project management plans and integrated master schedules. Other duties include: tracking project costs and schedules, generation and explanation of reports to provide updates to management and Government customers.
Conduct activities associated with administering and managing software development using AGILE\SCRUM methodologies
- Perform quality control of processes and products produced by the Technical, Requirements and Analysis Teams
- Write, interpret and analyze technical documentation related to the development and implementation of requirements.
- Provide consultation support to working groups on academics and training for Missiles and Space projects.
- Perform planning in support of existing and projected organizational mission requirements; and make assessments and recommendations as to overall resource capability to answer existing/projected requirements and identify resource shortfalls.
- Plans, directs, controls, coordinates and evaluates all aspects of the project's management program
- Interacts and coordinates with Government customers
- Analyzes contractual commitments, specifications, design changes, etc. to plan and develop program activities from conceptual stage through delivery.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Equivalent
- 10+ Years' Experience within the Missiles and Space and/or Air Defense Community
- 5+ Years of experience as a Project Manager
- Experience with customer sets: PEO Missiles and Space, TRADOC Centers of Excellence
- Clearance: SECRET or ability to obtain and maintain
