NOTE - This position will be REQUIRED to work an alternative work schedule to cover weekends.  Schedule could be Saturday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Sunday.  We can be flexibile on the schedule as long as we have the weekends covered.

 

As a Site Compliance Analyst you will analyze and participate in the oversight of the organization's regulatory programs and activities relating to alcohol beverage production, storage and bottling ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international laws as well as industry codes and company policies.

 

What You Will Do:

 


  • Performs activities supporting operational needs for products covered by government regulations.

  • Reconciles inventories, prepares, signs, and submits monthly reports to regulatory agencies as applicable.

  • Participates in related government interaction and compliance activities within the organization and at contract facilities during and after inspections or during regulatory actions initiated by government agencies.

  • Researches, analyzes and interprets regulations to provide recommendations in support of operational needs.

  • Seeks appropriate support and participates in the management /resolution of non-compliance situations.

  • Maintains licenses and permits, plant registrations, and bonds as applicable.

  • Prepares reports to management that defines/evaluates problems and uncovers possible solutions.

  • Maintains appropriate files, records and documentation.

  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

  • Participates in the development of department procedures and performance measures.

  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.

 

What You Will Need:

 


  • Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of experience in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, government administration, food science, chemistry, winemaking, spirits making, or finance/accounting/auditing reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of regulatory compliance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Skilled in the use of MS Word and MS Excel at a basic level.

  • Experience in document research and review, document filing with local authorities.

  • Ability to self-start, prioritize and meet strict deadlines while maintaining good judgement and professional relationships.

 

What Will Set You Apart:

 


  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, the alcohol beverage industry, government administration, finance or quality assurance reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Experience with reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and/or governmental regulations.

  • Experience with effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.

  • Experience interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

  • Experience with applying established procedures to situations that are non-routine in nature requiring some evaluation, originality or ingenuity.

  • Experience with working on multiple projects at one time and organizing them appropriately.
