Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Department Supervisor at our location in Indianapolis, IN.  The Department Supervisor reports to the Shift Supervisor and is responsible for supervising and training manufacturing personnel in a manner consistent with Company policies and procedures. Other Supervisor responsibilities include planning and managing the day-to-day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials, and systems) in order to efficiently, safely and cost effectively achieve performance targets. The Department Supervisor also implements and ensures adherence to company policies and procedures. Second shift hours are typically Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to1:00 am.  These positions have daily overtime as dictated by the production schedule. We are looking for strong performers who want to grow and develop with us. 

Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements

• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience


• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing/warehouse environment


• Demonstrated leadership ability


• Good oral and written communication skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and experience with time and attendance systems


• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs. individually and use moving aids to lift product over 75lbs


• Read and perform mathematical calculations and measurements with numbers, fractions, and decimals.


• Work in various climate conditions as the facility is subject to seasonal cold, heat and humidity
