We are looking to grow our team in New York, where we advise many of the largest and most recognizable US and global brands. You will be part of our specialized team of financial communications practitioners, gaining broad exposure to Edelman senior leadership and supporting on all core account tasks, including research and analysis, issues and media monitoring, client collateral and document development, execution of social media and digital strategies, and media relations and outreach.

Responsibilities:  


  • Provide client service support; attend meetings, handle scheduling, and logistics and provide billing support 

  • Develop, edit and proofread materials, including press releases, media correspondence, fact sheets and client correspondence and other materials 

  • Conducting background research, compiling, and analyzing media coverage 

  • Media monitoring 

  • Build media lists and engage with media

About You: 


  • Hold a bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record 

  • Have a strong interest or experience in healthcare, financial and corporate communications, capital markets and/or investor relations  

  • Have exceptional attention to detail, organizational and multi-tasking skills
    Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to ideate on the spot and actively participate in group discussions 

  • Possess solid research, writing, and editing skills  

  • Ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines 

  • Have previous internship experience in a public relations or communications setting (highly preferred) 

  • Show proficiency with Microsoft Office
    Must be available to work a full-time 40-hour/week schedule, start immediately
