Job Description:Position Title: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist Position Summary: Provides clinical services to include individual and group therapy to children and adults dealing with complex behavioral and mental health issues.Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in psychology, education, ABA, or related field of study. Experience in working with children and/or adults with behavioral and mental health issuesPreferred Qualification: 1-5 years' ABA experienceSpecial Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong communication skills both verbally and written; effective time management skills and manage multiple tasks at one time; flexibility with changing demands of inpatient acute care; ability to work under high-stress situationsEssential Functions/Job Duties: Provide direct client care in individual and group settings Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized behavior plans Utilize behavioral redirection techniques Recognize and respond to critical improvements in client's behavioral and developmental challenges Consult with staff and family members on the clients behavior plan, goals and progress Complete all required documentation in the electronic medical record All other duties as assignedWork Environment/Physical Demands: Works in well-lighted areas. Sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during work hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions.
