The Nemours Health System is currently seeking an Executive Director, Major Gifts and Planned Giving to oversee major gift and planned giving for the Nemours Health System. This position will be based at our Home Office in Jacksonville FL or in Wilmington, DE at the Nemours /DuPont Hospital for Children location.
Reporting to the Director, Fund Operations, the Executive Director, Major Gifts and Planned Giving will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Nemours Fund for Children’s Health (NFCH) major and planned giving programs, which promote planned and individual gifts through multiple platforms. The Executive Director, Major and Planned Giving will serve in an enterprise-wide role which will focus on building and enhancing the major and planned giving programs in addition to managing a portfolio of major and planned giving prospects in assigned territories.
The Executive Director, Major and Planned Giving will provide leadership and direction to the Major Gift team in establishing goals, performance standards, operating policies and procedures, and an evaluation process to monitor progress.
The ideal candidate will be a collegial team player with a proven ability to motivate, engage, and work collaboratively at all levels with prospects, donors, volunteers, leadership, and senior members of the research and medical staff, or similar constituencies. Travel between Fund Sites is required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree Required, Master Degree or JD preferred
5 Plus Years Major Gift Experience Required,
Healthcare experience preferred
CFRE Certification Preferred
Raiser's Edge Fundamentals Required
Travel Required based on need
