Evoqua Water Technologies LLC is searching for a Senior Field Service Technician to support a customer site of our Environmental Solutions Business Unit located in Lake Charles, LA. The Field Service Technician will be required to operate safely and efficiently within a customer site and perform monitoring duties of the carbon systems, activated carbon exchanges, installations and repairs on carbon filtration systems at the customer site. This position will provide semi-complex training to customers on products and services, as well as documenting all installations, monitoring, inspections, maintenance, repair work, etc. The key responsibility for the onsite Field Service Technician is to keep the customer in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements; additionally, the Field Service Technician will effectively identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them, including performing repair or referring more complex issues to management.

This position will/may have overtime, and may be required to work on weekends, evenings and/or holidays.

The qualifications this individual will have include:

•HS Diploma or equivalent, although an Associate's Degree or vocational technical training is strongly desired

•Read, write, and speak English
•Have a TWIC card or the ability to obtain one
•At least 3-5 years directly related experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment, preferred
•Prefer experience with LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) or Method 21 monitoring
•Participate in ongoing random drug testing and background check program
•Demonstrated safe working behavior
•Valid Driver's License and Clean driving record; must meet eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle
• Have or ability to obtain Basic Plus and 40 Hr Hazwoper Certification
•Carbon treatment experience helpful, but not necessary
•Must be able to lift 55 lbs. on a regular basis
•Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook) a plus
•Excellent customer service skills
•Other duties assigned by management
