Systems Engineer at BETA AIR, LLC in SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vermont

Job Description:

The ideal candidate has a BS in a relevant engineering discipline and is a systems engineering engineering guru that understands the critical importance of a clear and unambiguous requirement set. 5+ years of experience on Part 23 or 27 aircraft certification programs preferred. Application should be a super user with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) software experience. In depth understanding of ARP4754A, and ARP4761 strongly preferred. The individual should have a passion for safety and safety analysis in the form of Functional Hazard Assessments, Fault Tree Analysis, and FMEA’s.

The candidate should be comfortable working with a team of fellow certification oriented engineers & DER’s, systems engineers, and other design engineers providing critical design feedback as it relates to safety and certification concerns. Contributing as a team member to plan, build, and manage the certification artifacts and timelines at the aircraft, systems, and sub systems levels.

Planning and procedural documentation.

Aircraft and Systems requirement generation.

Modelling for system behavior validation activities.

ALM environment workflows and requirement management.

Test coordination and execution with fellow system and test engineers resources.

Those projects will include: eVTOL aircraft, and drone model UAS aircraft.
