The Waterford at Richmond Heights is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Nursing Supervisor position.  Duties of this position include but are not limited to the following:



  • To assist the Director of Assisted Living in providing oversight and management of Assisted Living team

  • To assist in developing and conduct training of staff 

  • To assist in compiling schedules of all nursing staff and ensure adequate staffing for all shifts

  • To assist the Director of Assisted Living in the completion of comprehensive resident assessments and maintaining  current care plans

  • Assist Director of Assisted Living in addressing resident/family inquiries or complaints

  • Review resident records and provide comprehensive and complete nursing notes

  • Demonstrate leadership skills

  • Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work; must be able to deal tactfully with other team members, residents, family members and visitors; must have patience, tact and cheerful disposition

  • Successful candidate must have valid nursing licenses/certifications and be in good standing, must have access to reliable transportation and be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and have a clean background check.

 


Requirements:


Qualified candidates must be currently licensed as an LPN in OH with a minimum of 1-year experience in senior housing and/or geriatric nursing. Prior management experience preferred. Candidate must either be certified or be able to become CPR and First Aid Certified within the first 90 days of employment. Candidate must also be able to read, write and speak the English language and be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians and employees. Candidate must have the ability to be on call, and occasionally work nights, weekends and holidays.
