Sr. Product Manager at SMA TECHNOLOGIES in Houston, Texas

Job Description:

Position Objective:

Unisoft International, Inc. dba SMA Technologies is a rapidly growing software company headquartered in North Houston that has an immediate need for a Sr. Product Manager. The Sr. Project Manager will focus on collaborating with business units, partners, clients, prospects, and market analysists to identify and prioritize our development backlog. The Sr. Product Manager will work as part of the Product Management team to focus on adding value to our products as well as communicating the value our products deliver internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize features in SMA Technologies product development backlog


• On-site client visits and remote client meetings to discuss product expectations and client needs


• Act as customer advocate, provide voice of the customer during internal discussions


• Communicate the business need(s) behind features within the backlog to the development team


• Communicate the business value of features included in a release internally and externally


• Conduct market research to help identify new products and/or features to develop


• Interview new clients and prospects post sales process to help determine factors that lead to their purchasing decision


• Communicate software releases both internally and externally

• Create and maintain competitive analysis research and documentation


• Partner with sales and marketing departments to provide technical product knowledge for client basis


• Help educate internal services teams about features and new releases

• Experience with Docker/ Kubernetes

Qualifications:

Education

Required: Bachelors Degree

Experience

Required: 5 years of product management or workload automation experience

Preferred: 8+ years of product management or workload automation experience
