Are you looking for a change? We have career opportunities in Operations and Sales!  Come see the Spectrum Difference! Spectrum Paint Company is currently seeking applicants for a Store Management opportunity in the Johns Island, SC area.  Responsibilities include:

• Achieving sales targets and profit plan by controlling expenses, inventory, and growing net contribution.


• Working with Sales Team as a contributor to overall Regional Sales Targets.


• Ensuring that high customer service standards are maintained and customer issues are quickly and efficiently resolved.


• Recruit, train, manage, and develop other store associates.


• Assist customers in person and over the phone with questions/orders regarding architectural, commercial, and industrial paint products and coating materials.


• Process orders by mixing/tinting products to customer specifications


• Oversees and ensures the efficiency of all daily operational procedures.


• Other duties as assigned by Regional Management

Insurance Options Available after the 60-day introductory period: Medical, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Term Life Insurance, Short/Long Term Disability, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and 401(k).  Also, eligible after 60 days:  Paid vacation, sick time, and holiday pay.

• Previous Retail Management or management experience a plus 


• Valid Driver's License with the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check


• Excellent customer service skills and reliability


• Ability to coach, provide feedback, and resolve conflict.


• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store team.


• Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem solving & planning skills.


• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment


• Capable of passing a drug test / background check


• Frequently able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, in order to move product about the store or for customers.


• Ability to lift 70 pounds frequently


• Basic computer skills and cash handling / cashiering skills


• Ability to work a flexible schedule which can include occasional Saturdays to meet business demands.

Experience in any of the following fields is ideal, however, we are willing to train: paint industry, construction, or experience with architectural, commercial, or industrial coatings.
