Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

Obtaining and documenting vital signs including but not limited to: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, health history, current medications and presenting problems.

Perform tests including, but not limited to EKGs, injections, rapid strep, influenza, and protime.

Schedule patients for diagnostic testing and referrals.

Communicate with patients about test results and plan of care, including prescription renewals and inquiries.

Prepare examination rooms and equipment for treatment of patients by sterilizing instruments and stocking exam rooms.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Must be able to think and work independently.

Experience with EMR preferred.
