Reports to: Director of Content Strategy

Primary Location: Remote - United States

Job Purpose

Unique opportunity to work cross-functionally to shape business questions and deliver data-driven intelligence to inform strategies and uncover market opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will help gather, aggregate and develop actionable market, industry, and competitive insights. These insights will inform and influence product roadmaps, sales strategies and enterprise-wide initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:




  • Perform continuous environmental scan of selected competitors




  • Establish a rhythm of business and programmatic approach leveraging technology to gather new competitive insights and present these in an actionable manner with all stakeholders.




  • Produce reports to senior company leadership on market and industry research insights that include data analysis, narrative report writing, and actionable insights and intelligence.




  • Understanding business objectives, identify and execute appropriate market research methodologies, proactively identify and monitoring market and competitive trends and make research guided recommendations



    • Proactively identify market trends that are impacting the business or will in the future




    • Consistently track and monitor market share






  • Manage Industry partner relationships to help shape specific research opportunities while also gleaning insights from their existing research and presenting these to the sales, product development, and marketing teams in actionable ways




  • Manage a vendor network




  • Arm the sales teams with internal and customer facing competitive materials to strengthen our ability to compete head on.




  • Track and analyze wins and losses to strengthen the materials over time and increase our win rates


Qualifications

We are looking for a passionate candidate to join our Marketing team: someone who is comfortable working across disciplines with cross-functional teams, able to flex between methodologies, and also able to step back, and connect the dots for a more strategic point of view. We're looking for someone who is smart, humble, curious, a great team player and of course, completely obsessed about market, industry and competitive insights.   • 5+ years' experience in marketing, preference for B2B




  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with qualitative and quantitative data




  • Must have CRM experience, preferably Salesforce




  • Top notch business acumen




  • An energetic, hungry and humble attitude




  • A penchant for learning new things and taking challenges head on




  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
