1.Operate all previously set up grinding machines at acceptable production and quality levels.
2.Learn all functions of Toolmaker position, equipment operation, tooling function and design
from instructors.

-Vocational education as well as on the job training.
-Operate two or more grinding machines to meet production goals.
-Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and maintain quality.
-Operate grinding equipment to sharpen tools.
-Learn tooling, tool maintenance and tool sharpening of drills, reamers and form tools.
-Work with instructors to gain knowledge.
-Detect and report unusual conditions to supervisor.
-Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
-Use personal safeguards for hands, ears, feet, and eyes as prescribed.
-Perform related and other duties assigned by supervisor.
-Required to participate in Parker's "Lean" initiatives.
-Follow all policies and procedures
-Coordinate all tooling, holders, collets, pushers, cams, gears, prints, and routings required for new setups into job carts.

-High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
-Basic Microsoft Office, including Excell and Word
-Work collaboratively with all others to drive improvement.
-Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
-Exert 25 to 80 pounds of force occasionally and/or exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently to move objects
-Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine gages, prints and precision measuring instruments.
-Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action is required.
