Summary/Objective:
Rogers Corporation is currently seeking an individual to join the Business Transformation Program team to own the sourcing space, to include thought leadership, partnering with stakeholders to develop and drive strategies, designing and implementing process improvements, and participating in a corporate wide ERP deployment. This individual will take direction from the Senior VP for Global Operations and will be responsible for Sourcing function processes as well as the end-to-end Source to Pay process. The ideal candidate is someone who has previous experience in sourcing and has done actual sourcing work in strategic supplier management and commodity management, and who has had exposure and experience with the latest trends in the source to pay space.
 
Essential Functions:


  1. Define As Is / To Be processes and gap identification and identify improvement opportunities.

  2. Work with other business and process leaders to be a change agent to align strategies and priorities in developing and improving sourcing and source to pay design and process improvements.

  3. Leverage insights from experience in sourcing to ensure that the value delivery from process improvements is well understood by key stakeholders and ensure that all are aligned on key objectives.

  4. Build and manage relationships and develop strong cross-functional partnerships to move initiatives forward, raise concerns to appropriate owners early and resolve open issues that prevent progress.

  5. Report on progress of process improvement projects understanding risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones and action to ensure success.

Required Education and Experience:


  • MBA/MA

  • Experience managing business processes and leading business process improvement initiatives

  • 10 years sourcing experience

Required Skills and Abilities:


  • Prior experience implementing Continuous Improvement practices for a business unit and/or function

  • Ability to meet established deadlines; must be a self-starter who can work independently as well as be a team player

  • Ability to build trust, interact globally with all levels of the organization and able to effectively communicate and influence team members across cultures

  • Change Leadership - demonstrated performance as a change agent; ability to deal well with setbacks

  • Must be action and results oriented, with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Ability to coach, counsel and develop people

Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics and/or PeopleSoft
