The incumbent is required to conduct all job responsibilities consistent with policies, procedures, and in compliance with all applicable laws or mandates relating to patient care and activities.
Responsible for the delivery of care through the process of nursing assessment, planning and implementation.
Promotes a smooth flow of patients through the office and helps to create a calm and supportive atmosphere, demonstrating the Values in Action with each interaction, at all times.
Assists with face-to-face and telephonic care and treatment of patients.
Performs tasks as required within their scope of practice, paying attention to detail and accuracy.
Conducts all interactions with patients and personnel in a courteous, respectful manner while maintaining confidentiality.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: BSN preferred.
License/Certifications: Current licensure from the Maine State Board of Nursing as an R.N. required. BLS and ability to perform CPR required.
Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in emergency department, urgent care, or other walk-in care setting preferred.
