As Lead Medical Technologist (MT) you will perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more functions of laboratory sections.  You will maintain records of performance and be responsible for specific laboratory department policies, procedures and records, ensuring that all policies and procedures are performed appropriately.

  Day-to-day duties include performing routine and/or complex testing in specific areas of the lab.
  


• 
  Organize and assist in delegating workload within the department.
  


• You will perform and document various quality control and equipment maintenance procedures.


• 
  

  Maintain department quality control records, equipment records and procedure manuals.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• 
  

  Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Sciences or related field.

  
  


• 
  

  MT registry required. ASCP or equivalent is preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  3-7 years of Medical Technologist experience required. Previous hospital experience preferred.

  
  


• Previous Lead or Supervisory experience preferred.

HOURS

• Full Time / 40 hours per week


• Evening Shift to include weekends and holidays
