In this role you will: 

• perform nutritional screening and assessment of patients as outlined per policy and procedures.


• provide patient education on therapeutic diets as outlined per policy and procedures.


• offer oversight of FANS Aide staff in deciding which patient foods are allowed and disallowed based on the prescribed diet order.

 

Qualifications

Education/SkillsBachelor’s Degree required. 
ExperienceAt least 1 year previous experience in hospital clinical dietetics preferred.
Licenses, Registrations and/or CertificationsRD and Texas LD licensure.
