Job Description:

Overview:

Acts as frontline leader to support daily operations and standard work of assigned work area. Escalates barriers to leadership. Responsible for maintaining unit equipment and supplies to assure staff have what they need in order to support unit operations. Serves as a resource for team members by providing guidance and participating in training and other leadership duties as requested by the unit manager. Assist department staff with setting up and maintaining efficient work areas, supplies and equipment; provides clinical support at the direction of Registered Nurses as needed.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience: - High school graduate or equivalent. - Minimum two years of experience in a hospital or pre-hospital setting with pediatrics. Required Credentials: - Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by date of hire. - Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant license. Preferred: - Leadership experience.
