The Medical Staff Services Administrative Assistant is a professional administrative assistant who assists with the coordination of medical staff activities, performs secretarial and delegated administrative job duties.
Patient Population Served :
This position does not provide direct patient care.
Essential Position Functions :
1. Assists in medical staff meeting preparation, including schedule, meeting reminders, agenda packets and recording and processing of meeting minutes.
2. Assists with maintenance of current Medical Staff, Medical Staff Department/Committee membership roster, payor enrollment rosters, and other rosters as required.
3. Assists in maintaining current confidential credential and payor enrollment files on all medical staff and adjunct providers.
4. Assists payor enrollment with maintenance of CAQH ProView accounts.
5. Assists with adjunct/medical staff reappointment process and payor enrollment revalidation/re-enrollment.
